But whatever; I was able to shrug it off—mostly—and I kept enjoying the story and the chemistry between the heroes. Urgh no thanks, just pass me the one with the kinky cowboys instead please. And when Walter wants to help, he throws himself into it, heart, mind, time and bank account. But as always, Cullinan avoids the easy route, and her character is far too large a presence to be boxed into anything so trite.

Other books in the series. I understand that Kelly is a Disney fan and his life has been a Disney movie, while Walter identifies more with Fight Club.
For me, the book read more like Walter’s story—and Williams was the mentor; the character who acts as a catalyst for significant character development usually in the second half of Ms Cullinan’s stories. This book is a slow growing sweet romance but it packs an extreme punch.
BUT I do want everyone to read this. But when they deny his request, they stick him in a single dorm with another young man who has lvoe long list of his own, but this one is of his allergies.
While I liked the story and I felt it was heldi written, it is not a favorite of mine. Its set in college. Kelly’s optimism, positivity and love envelopes Walter like a warm, soft blanket. Sugar is all well and good but white death is too much.: It was nice—Disney movie aside.
Want to Read saving…. I liked that Kelly had strong ideas, and a love of Disney movies, but he was so much more than that. This book was pretty much made for me. I apologize in advance; this book has turned hedi into a giddy schoolgirl. Without a doubt, yes!

You’ve got well balanced push pull, crazy jealousy, gut twisting insecurity, torturous want, and miserable doubt – capped off with a slow burn UST and seriously hot, sexual exploration. As the book unfolds, you come to realize that the crucial backstory is not the insert a number dozen men Walter Lucas has seduced since he got to Hope College, but the two years he took off before he even started. Walter and Kelly came from such different families, one self-centered and cold, the other a warm home full of love and support.
My patience seems to be wearing thin lately, I was bored and exasperated, its a very slow moving story. I was still invested in the romance and very eager to see them come together at last. Now, it wasn’t perfect. View all culliinan comments. We rarely see stories that take family obligations seriously, whether they are healthy or destructive.
Not too much, cullian too little.

Heidi Cullinan has always enjoyed a good love story, provided it has a happy ending. There is a beauty in reading. Love Lessons by Heidi Cullinan. The different ways they have brought up the two boys clearly influence their world views, and ultimately, the way they make their life choices.
I loved the rock solid writing and lezsons flow was fantastic as well.

Heidi did a great job of describing academia politics and college life. The lead up to the first Kiss… so damn good.

Sometimes that’s more powerful than any words. While his mom wasn’t always emotionally available to him and sometimes depended on him too much instead of vice versa, she loved him and she was there physically.
